The IAG Red Racing Timing Belt Kit is designed as a replacement for the OEM EJ20 and EJ25 engines. Included in the kit are high quality OEM idler pulleys, IAG’s high strength red racing timing belt, our billet timing belt guide, and an OEM timing belt tensioner.

IAG RED RACING TIMING BELT – The high-strength Kevlar construction and red color make it a great choice. We have performed extensive testing of this belt on our Spintron testing machine, as well as our fleet of racing vehicles. In testing, we found that these belts ensure accurate timing and unmatched performance. The Kevlar construction is 300% stronger than the OEM timing belt, and is also three times more heat resistant. The belt teeth are made of H-NBR grade rubber for additional strength.
OEM TIMING BELT TENSIONER & IDLER PULLEY – One of the most important components in the timing system is the timing belt tensioner. Aftermarket units are known to fail prematurely, which can cause catastrophic failure. The idler pulleys included are also OEM quality units. It is more common to experience a timing idler bearing failure than it is to experience a failure of the timing belt itself. IAG BILLET TIMING BELT GUIDE – The IAG billet timing belt guide is the best method to prevent your EJ engine from skipping a beat. Engineered and manufactured in our facility in Westminster, MD, each guide is machined from a single piece of 6061 billet aluminum and anodized black for a protective finish. The guide is a strong replacement for the OEM piece and is also adjustable to set the proper clearance for the timing belt.
